Debegesa is the Economic Development Company in Debabarrena. It was set up in 1985 to promote economic development in the area and turn local needs into specific actions for improvement.

 

Debegesa is the Economic Development Company in Debabarrena. It was set up in 1985, with the aim of promoting sustainable development in the area, transforming local needs into specific actions for improvement. It was created by the 8 local councils of Debabarrena and provides a public service to citizens, collaborating with the local councils, regional councils, the Basque Government, the Spanish employment office (INEM), the Spanish Government and the European Union.

Cooperation Agreement with Eusko Ikaskuntza

Debegasa and Eusko Ikaskuntza have signed a cooperation agreement to work together on diverse initiatives throughout 2007. This agreement will be beneficial for the whole region and will be turned into various joint projects between both institutions, exchange of information related to the socio-economic observatories of both entities, putting photographers of the Debabarrena Region in contact with Eusko Ikaskuntza, etc.
